Overview

The IM7206 is a single chip to integrate following functions:
  • a bridge between the USB host and the SATA device
  • RF decoder
  • Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 128 bits de/encryption.
    It is can be apply an ordinary USB to SATA device enclosure with RFID authentication or an ordinary enclosure. The USB coheres the Mass Storage Class Bulk-only Transport Specification and the embedded command parser supports both ATA and ATAPI command set with LBA48 addressing capability. This chip is designed by 0.18um CMOS technology with 64 LQFP package (10x10mm) .
